The Miracle Morning

This is truly an amazing piece.

At the age of 20 years old, Hal Elrod was in a fatal car. crash.

He was pronounced dead for six minutes.

Broke nearly a dozen bones.

And was told that he would never walk again.

The Miracle Morning is Hal's story and inspiration to us all that healing is possible and that there are tools that we can implement every day to turn every day into our own miracle.

You Are What You Eat
A Twin Experiment

This is the health experiment that we've all been waiting for.

A brand new study with genetically identical twins.

This docuseries follows multiple sets of identical

twins for eight weeks.

They are taken from the very sad Standard American Diet and one twin is placed on a healthy omnivore diet and one is placed on a a healthy plant based diet.  Follow their journey to discover the impact that diet has had on the health of these study participants!

What is astounding is the field of epigenetics, or how your gene expression changes under different circumstances.  Experts relay in this series that MOST genetic predispositions are not set in stone and there are very few genetic outcomes that can't be controlled with nutrition!

This documentary also touches on mind-blowing ethical issues that surrounds the massive amount of meat consumption today such as the impact on global warming and deforestation of the Amazon in efforts to provide more beef to Americans.

Forks Over Knives

Focused on work of the incredible T. Colin Campbell, PhD

and research published in The China Study

Ever wonder why Americans are getting so sick?

This documentary is an amazing look into how the American diet effects health and wellness in the United States.

Campbell was raised on a farm and was fond of a dairy and meat focused diet as a child and young adult.  In fact, he began his professional career in research with a goal to get beef to increase in size more efficiently.

His research took a turn when he encountered studies on childhood liver cancer and the link was found to be in the food.

Forks over knives is a great entry level watch before diving into the heavily resourced book, The China Study.

Plant Pure Nation

This is an amazing follow-up to Forks Over Knives

This piece follows Nelson Campbell and his efforts to help

make some serious change when it comes to the health regulations in America.  Unfortunately, the financial ties to the industry of decision makers in governments are so strong that his efforts were stifled from a legislative perspective.

So Campbell set out on his own to change the lives of hundreds of people in carious communities in the United States.  The measured biometric data before and after the nutrition programs were complete to demonstrate how food impacted their health.

Some of the effects participants saw were lowered blood pressure and cholesterol as well as complete reversal of their Type 2 Diabetes.

And the verdict is... nearly all causes of premature death can be prevented with diet and lifestyle.

Super Juice Me!

Let me start by saying that, though I love my juicer and I am a huge fan of smoothies, I have never done a juice cleanse and I have always been skeptical of it. â€‹

However, I am singing a different tune after watching this documentary and it has urged me to get the Super Juice Me and Super Blend Me books by Jason Vale.

This documentary follows eight participants with a total of 22 chronic illnesses that, by western medicine standards, are not curable or reversible.

After 28 days on juice, participants had complete or near complete reversal of chronic illnesses such as Chron's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, and more.  One participant reduced his medication intake by 70% during the 28 days.  At the one month follow-up following the 28 day program, he had reduced his medication intake from 52 total pills per day to only TWO!

Juicing allows for the body to directly absorb vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other nutrients directly without expending a the massive amount of energy that is necessary for digestion.

Where I do believe that any nutrition plan without solid food requires medical guidance, a definitive plan, and should not be used long-term, clearly the health benefits can be astounding!
